Role Summary

Drive digital payments adoption by onboarding neighborhood merchants to Paytm. You’ll map your area, meet shop owners, explain Paytm products (UPI/QR, devices), complete KYC, activate accounts, and ensure initial transactions—all while meeting daily/weekly targets and maintaining strong merchant relationships.

Must-Have Eligibility

• Education: SSLC / PUC / ITI / Diploma / Any Degree

• Gender: Male

• Age: 19–40 years

• Mandatory: Valid Driving Licence and two-wheeler

• Smartphone with mobile data

• Language: Kannada (required); basic English/Hindi helpful

• Local knowledge: Familiar with Kalaburagi city/market areas

Key Responsibilities

• Merchant acquisition: Visit shops daily, pitch Paytm solutions, and close sign-ups.

• Onboarding & KYC: Collect documents, fill forms accurately, and ensure quick activation.

• Deployment & training: Set up QR/Soundbox or other devices; train merchants on the Paytm Business App.

• Activation & usage: Drive the first transactions and encourage steady usage.

• Targets & reporting: Achieve daily/weekly acquisition and activation goals; update progress in the app/CRM.

• Relationship management: Handle merchant queries, escalate issues, and ensure a positive experience.

• Market intelligence: Share feedback on competitors, pricing, and local opportunities.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication and convincing skills

• Goal-oriented with a “field hustle” mindset

• Basic app usage/reporting; comfort with Google Maps/WhatsApp

• Professional grooming and punctuality

• Integrity in handling documents and data

Nice to Have (Preferred)

• 0–2 years in field sales/fin-services/FMCG/telecom

• Experience with merchant onboarding, QR/UPI, POS devices
