1) Gold Loan Sales Officer

Role Summary

Grow the branch’s gold-loan business through customer acquisition, service, and portfolio quality while adhering to bank policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new gold-loan customers through field/branch leads and local networks.

• Explain product features (LTV, tenure, charges), complete applications, and coordinate processing.

• Drive monthly disbursal & renewal targets; maintain low delinquencies/NPA.

• Ensure accurate documentation, KYC completion, and policy compliance.

• Maintain daily MIS (leads, visits, disbursals, renewals) and market feedback.

• Collaborate closely with the Gold Appraiser and branch team for smooth turnaround.

Requirements & Skills

• Any Graduate with ≥6 months gold-loan experience.

• Strong communication in local language & basic English; customer-service mindset.

• Basic computer/MS-Excel proficiency; smartphone familiarity.

• Target orientation, integrity, and field mobility within the assigned cluster.

2) Gold Appraiser

Role Summary

Conduct precise valuation and purity testing of pledged gold, ensure secure handling, and support compliant, speedy disbursals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform purity/weight testing (touchstone/spectrometer as per SOP) and record results.

• Verify documents, photographs, and packet sealing; maintain vault & register accuracy.

• Flag anomalies/fraud risks; ensure adherence to audit, safety, and compliance norms.

• Coordinate with Sales Officer/branch for disbursal, renewals, and auctions (if applicable).

• Maintain TAT and uphold customer transparency and fair-practice standards.

Requirements & Skills

• Any Graduate with ≥6 months gold-loan/gold appraisal experience (mandatory).

• Hands-on knowledge of gold testing methods & documentation.

• Detail orientation, integrity, and adherence to SOP/audit requirements.

• Basic computer skills; ability to communicate clearly with customers.
